If you’re still searching for a perfect Valentine’s gift, treat your boo to a fun outdoor evening with Napa City Ghosts and Legends Walking Tours. Since 2014, the business has hosted interactive walking tours of Napa City with a spooky twist.
With three tour options, you’ll get the inside scoop on notable legends of Napa City and learn about the mysteries, scandals and ghosts they left behind. Your guide will clue you in on notable events such as the last public execution in California, the criminal who ended up hanging in the Napa High School science department, the Greenwood murder, the Fagiani murder, and a world of other spectral stories and frightening facts.
Tour guides and locals Ellen and Devin are both popular paranormal investigators and were featured in the documentary film, “Haunted Wine Country.” If you’re looking for stay-at-home Valentine treat, you can rent the documentary online through Vimeo.
Walking tours are held on Thursday and Saturday nights beginning at 7:00 pm at the old Napa Courthouse (825 Brown Street). Ghost tours are also available in Sonoma and Vacaville. Check the website for tour details and availability or to RSVP for the experience and date that work for you.
